    Illusionary celebrities.

With the ever so delightful (/sarcasm) Fan Of application on Facebook, I came to notice a great many of my male friends (and a couple of my female friends) becoming fans of this woman named Megan Fox. Generally with my background of being partial to cartoons, indie flicks and foreign pieces, I hadn't heard this name before and I decided to see what all the fuss was about, being able to appreciate a beautiful woman and all.

I clicked the link and found this pouty lipped, smoky eyed, big breasted, perfect bodied twentysomething arching her back in sexy lingerie. The page, bombarded with quotes, informed me that she had a sex drive to rival a 13 year old boy's and a fondness for older men at 22 or something. Now, gorgeous Angelina Jolie-a-likes with high sex drives and a thing for old codgers are probably not exactly rare, but when you're fap bait... isn't that exactly what 40 year old men with expendable cash want to hear?

It would make perfect sense that an actress could put on a front to generate more publicity for herself. Maybe the real Megan Fox enjoys nothing more than sitting down and reading Nietzsche, or maybe the real Megan Fox prefers a long candle lit dinner than having gratuitious sex. That's not what people want to hear. I'm not wise to the mind that prefers sexual images of women to men, but I believe that it's easier to find a sex-crazed whatever to be more sexy than someone who quotes philosophy.  Since actresses and actors act, perhaps their offscreen persona is just a persona and not the real individual that they are at home.

With that being said, I'm rather skeptical to the idea of a perfectly manufactured for fap bait woman. In a world where we idolize actors over firewomen/men, plastic surgery is widespread, and our heroes are as fake as pleather, I cannot believe in anyone Hollywood presents to me. I won't be becoming fans of actors or actresses in the future, no matter how scantilly clad they are.

Is it real, or is it just a pretty illusion? Think about that the next time you jerk off to porn. I guarantee you when you think about a manufactured image's manufactured quality, you'll cease to see the lust and throbbing eroticism in it. Look at your significant other like you would a big breasted/well hung celebrity and treat them like they're that special. There is nothing more sexual and thrilling than the real thing, so please consider the illusion the next time you spend more time looking at a hot actor/actress than your boyfriend/girlfriend. They'd appreciate it.

  • Philosophy of a welcome.

I don't know what precisely you're expecting to say. The odds are that you're either a stranger or a friend and I don't want to pour myself out to you with fear of being either redundant or too forward. I just write because people are selective in what they listen to. I doubt there are going to be comments, but knock yourself out if you've got something amusing or smart to say. I'm open to pleasant surprises and harsh criticisms.
